Celebrities Get Together for Adoption
Korea’s top celebrities have gotten together to take part in a photo exhibition to promote adoption. Voluptuous actress Kim Hye-soo, star of “The Chaser” Ha Jung-woo, singer Lee Seung-ki, actress Song Yun-ah were among some twenty celebrities who participated in the “6th Letters of Angels” photo exhibition sponsored by the social Welfare Society, Inc.
Cho Sei-hon, a famed photographer and the chief of Angel Village, took the heartwarming photos of celebrities with babies up for adoption. Having started back in 2003, the photo exhibition has featured numerous stars holding babies. So far 80 celebrities and 150 babies have been photographed for the exhibition, and 90% of the babies have been adopted. Kim Hye-su, in particular, has been rounding up support for the project, posting photos and articles about the exhibition on her personal homepage.
The exhibition will be held from December 17 through 23 at Insa Art Center in Seoul, and can also be viewed online at http://gallery.lovefund.or.kr.
Ha stars in a thriller, Parallel Life ( tentatively titled ) with Ji Jin Hee. It was announced at the CJ Entertainment’s Night on October 4 while Pusan International Film Festival.
Parallel Life is directed by Kwon Il Soon and produced and distributed by CJ Entertainment. Parallel Life is that people living in different time experience same occurence such as similarity of Lincoln and Kennedy’s death. Cj Entertainment official said that Ha would play very impressive role. According to Ha’s Cine21 Interview, he plays supporting role.
Ji plays youngest judge, Kim Seok Hyeon following same fate of judge, Han Sang Joon who lived 30 years ago. Lee Jong Hyeok plays Ji’s rival prosecutor, Lee Gang Seong.
This starts filming in late October and is expected to be released in 2009.
June 24 was Ji Jin Hee’s 38th birthday. Surprise birthday party was held by actors and staffs in the set of MBC drama “Spotlight” which Ji stars nowadays.
Ha visited the set and attended Ji’s birth party held at dawn. According to news, Ha and Ji are so close that they’ve shared opinions about acting and reviewed each other’s works.

Ha Jung Woo, Ji Jin Hee and Gina Kim met Martin Scorsese in NY on September 13, 2007.
Scorsese said, “It was impressive that Ha co-stars with Vera Farmiga in never forever. Watching Ha in the unforgiven and time, I thought he is an flexible actor who can change himself with diversity for character” and added. ”Ha has as much potential as Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon. I expect he stands out in the world sooner or later.”

Ha Jung Woo and Ji Jin-Hee attend Ralph Lauren Show at Central Park Conservatory Garden on September 8, 2007 in New York City. Ha will return to Korea after having meetings with Hollywood directors.
